Prediction of the impact of lubrication on tablet compactibility


The present work details a model based on the Ryshkewitch-Duckworth equation that can estimate the compactibility profiles of lubricated formulations. Available model showing extended quantitative predictive accuracy for the influence of lubricant concentration on the mechanical strength of tablets. Full paper available in the PAPERS section.

Insight into tableted pellets by combining X-ray micro-computed tomography and experimental compaction

New study from the University of Montpellier developing a new approach to evaluate the deformation behavior of pellets when compressed.

Both data during tableting and compression models with XTM image analysis were combined.
